yeah my first granada 24v, magenta and mint it was, (not the one in my pictures), it was mine and the misses daily driver, we got skint after work dried up and had to sell it, so my mate said he would have it. I know he looks after cars, so I thought yeah fine, thinkin that in a year or so I would buy it back, sold it to him, 2 weeks later i'm on the way to drop the misses off at work and spot an accident up ahead, road closed but I can see its a magenta granada cosworth. knowing at that time I hadn't seen another one in that colour about round here I asked the copper the reg, it was mine, my mate lost it, spun out and hit a car on the other side killing the driver, my mate had broken collar bone ribs, wrist alll fucked up an stuff, So yeah i regret selling it, 1 because I loved the car, 2 if i hadn't of sold it my mate probably wouldn't have killed someone, felt slightly to blame as he only ever had little 1.2 fiestas. but I got over it, and bought the one I have now. and my mate is all better.

Always regretted selling my E30 M3
http://i595.photobucket.com/albums/tt33/k3rm1tt/028.jpg
But probably just as well cos the timing chain needed done and the parts and labour would have run into a few grand. Anyway I made £2k by selling it so never lost any money on it other than fuel and tyres.

Not yet, but thinking of getting rid of my saph, not sure if it's the right thing to do but i just can't be assed with it anymore and it's taking up space in the garage. It's gone from dream motor when i was 21, to inconvienience in the garage over 9-1/2 years.

Yes when we found out my wife was pregnant we had to sell our Series 2 and bought a Mondeo TDCI was gutted but it was either sell my Mk2 Fiesta which i have spent so much time effort and money on or the Series 2 which we used every day and as the fiesta was in bits was just easier to sell the series 2

Was late at passing my test at 20yr old...basically no job or money meant I couldnt do it..then I landed a job on decent money, passed my test and bought my dream car.

A bubble arched mk1 escort, was only a 1300gt but it had twin 40's, a lairy cam and a peter lloyd rallying exhaust...was an absolute flying machiene

Then I got with some tart who spent all my money so it had to go....regreted it ever since

Dont know where the car is now but I sold it to a lad from Ireland

mk2 xr2, was my first car, spent loads on it - Flowed/cammed head, Zorst, Twin 40s, alarmed, suspension, brakes, hoses etc. Ran out of money, got fed up and got rid. Miss the car as it was 'clean' compared to most!

never had to sell a car but did have to sell a brand new set of diamond cuts which had brand new toyo proxe tyres on when i was made redundant once. What pissed me off even more was that a week after selling them plus full cossie managemen conversion package i managed to get a new job grrr!

My mk4 xr3i sold it cus i wanted an escort cabby, got a mint mk3 4 door instead lowered it loads lol. Missed my xr3i so much i brought it back off the guy i sold it to. un fortunately he had added a few extra bumps and scrapes than i would of liked but at least i got her back. Dont do it you will only regret it and buy something to replace it.

The rst i'm just starting to break now!
Had it for over 6 years, first 'decent' car i got when i was 21....spent an absolute fortune on it, but met loads of people who are now good friends through it and managed to get a full feature in fast ford which i always aimed for
Sadly it's gone as far as i wanted to go and i'm done spending money on it, the only option for me is breaking.....don't think i could let someone drive it away

If you don`t have to don`t do it, my first car was a white S2 had it for a while, got through a couple of engines and boxes and decided i`d had enough. I regretted it ever since, when it was on the road i loved every drive in it, i sold it to a mate, then he sold to another mate who spent loads on engine and box then he sold it to someone around Norwich i think? On the up side i`ve just bought another, albeit 6 years later!
Anyone know of H288 JPU? Be nice to know its still about, its not on the rs turbo register site.

I had a 2.9 Granada Scorpio, white, full RS kit, black leather, etc.. had it 5 years and loved it for bruising about in, had a massive sound system too!
Broke down in north yorkshire, water pump went loosing all water, headgasket went, and got so hot I could open the bonnet!!
Had to strip all my gear out, get picked up and abandon it by the side of the road!

Was gutted.. just to expensive to recover it home and repair it at the time, was when the fuel crisis hit and everyone was striking, price of big engine motors just dropped so wasnt worth much
