Default cosworth managemeant running problem??

Alright lads

now ever sinse i put this management on my car its never run right and it doing my tit's in now. If you drive my car it drives mint but as soon as you go past 3500 rpm it starts to pop and bang like it back fireing. Ive got a oddkidd chip in and ive tryed everthink. before i killed my last engine i took it down to jano and he seemed to have fixed the fault but when i got home it started doing it again.
Now ive built a new engine because i snaped a rod in my old one. the car is just the same.
i would go to janos again but its about 300+ mile away and when i took my car to cenrtral day i seen jano and he put his computer on and there was only a tps code on so i reset that down there and its still the same
anyone got any ideas

try things like-coil- new denso plugs- all new engine sensors-new leads- cheaked timing and adjusted phase sensor- adjusted crank sensor- cheaked every wire on the loom from sensor plug to ecu plug.
ive also got a iaw that plugs into my car but the computer thinks my car is a cossie 4*4 still no codes.

would realy appreciate if anyone could help me
and sorry for my spelling am dyslexic

Thanks.
fuel pressure was ok 3 bar with pipe on and 3.5 with it off. just changed my fuel pump because the old one started to sound loud got a 044 pump on now. map sensor pipe is ok and am on to my 3rd 3bar map sensor because of where i had it. It used to snap the pipe off all the time so ive now moved it and its ok.
got no air leaks mate and havent got a dump valve.
the turbo comes in but very late. dos'nt come in til just past 3000rpm
(cosworth t3 with 48 exh)
i was thinking it might have somthink to do with the chip. was thinking the ignition timing was'nt retarding or just not set right. what do yous think.
thanks again

You said that there was a tps code showing, was the problem with the tps resolved or was the code just cleared, as wouldnt a faulty tps show the problems that you are having or am i way off the mark.

cheers adam

Yeah but if you think it could be a prob with the ecu or chip you could prob send the ecu to him and he would test it on a diff car ... saves the long drive.

Don't want to lead you round in circles but is the TPS wiring right? IE Has it been reversed for 2WD loom with 4x4 PF09 TPS?

Actaully ignore that. Jano would ahve spotted it was reading wrong when he put his monitor on it as he spotted it right away with mine. Does sound like a strange one. It seems you've covered most things though. Do the injectors need cleaning? Not supplying enough fuel on boost? Boost blowing spark out? Plugs gapped correctly etc?

mike ur on okc arn't u?

flashturbo came to my rescue, he came to blackpool for the weekend and hooked his monitoring software up, ecu wasn't getting a signal from phase sensor, we've fettled a few things and it fired

turns out that my throttle position sensor is fubared too so as soon as msd is open I will go get a new 1, get the car round to work, get it on the gas analyser, set the fueling then get it in for mot, then should be takin it to jano for a final set up.

oh yeah pleased, over the fookin moon is more accurate

little bram.

You should have it checked over again with the laptop and monitor and go out on the road and tune it in real time to end these issues.

I know its quite far, however i have people travel from norway and france for the day to have issues solved once and for all.
