to be honest mate, just get the car you want then think about the management at a later date after some saving. if you try and get everything in one go for 3k you'll end up with a dog in my opinion that'll either never run right or will fall apart the first speed bump you go over due to rust. try and find a nice solid car and gradually get the bits together and fit them yourself or get some mates too if you're not to good with the spanners. don't just rush out and buy the first thing you see otherwise you might find you're never happy with it and you'll wish you waited a bit longer.

Its a tidy car mate i went with paul to help him make sure it wasnt a stinker, its a standard engine with a pace cooler, chipped ecu and t3 conversion. i know paul is over the moon with it

It did a 250 mile trip without any problems so it seems pritty bullet proof.

I know the car has been brought, but totally agree with the above. Work on it in stages, im still on mfi, have thought about efi etc but I know the handeling and suspension needs sorting first.

Bottom line is, these cars will more that happily eat up your money, just a question of how quickly you want them to!! loll

cheers
