Cliff who rents the end of the barn off us is a shotblaster and gets good rates on powdercoat through work. I needs stuff doing so give it to me, he'll shot blast it, probably for nothing and send it down ad one. Will be cheaper.

This includes:
Full blast Clean & degrease
Powdercoat in pretty much any colour (inner parts masked)
Pre-heat & curing in a radiant oven
As we use a radiant oven, the air temp within the oven does not exceed 75deg, but the surface of any parts reaches approx 180 - 200. We use this oven as due to the nature of it, when we are powdercoating wheels etc as it is only the surface which gets heated meaning the internal metal integrity/strength is not affected. The finished item is slightly less durable than an oven cured part but the application of laquer adds to its durability. I personally would rather the odd chip on an alloy than a collapsed on on the track!
If the customer would require the parts to be oven cured then this is also fine for us to do.
Anyway, back to the subject in hand,
rocker cover degreased, masked, bunged and blasted - £15.00
Rocker cover powdercoated - £20.00
I have some H&R coilover which im sending to bezo n sas to sort out the threads at the top (i cocked them up like a tit)
once I get them back I shall be powdercoating them so I will put up a thread about how we tackle them in respect to the curing, masking up before blasting anf if they knackerd up in the process. Will try and get some exact air and surface temps up as well.
