calipers are from a mk3 mondeo ST220, but i think all mk3 mondeo's have the same. Disks are from focus I ST170, 300mm. You need 15mm spacers. i bought them from ebay for 15q delivered in Greece, including the four bolts! Also you need to drill the hub, as the new calipers have M12 bolts. S2 calipers are with M10 bolts. 30-40 minutes to fit them, very easy!

I would think that 16" is the smallest rim one can use then?

I find it very hard to find good 16" track/winter tires that fit the RST. Basic summer tires are of course everywhere in good sizes.

Yeah to use 15" wheels you would need to use the cosworth set up with the 280mm discs

Right, sorry to awaken a thread from the dead. Basically I'm doing an engine conversion on an Onion, and obviously need to upgrade the stoppers.

I had already brought one side for my Fiesta, so thought I would bolt it up.. straight to the hub. I didn't think it would fit under 15's

And, it actually did. I put on a standard disc on to see how it fits, just touches the back pad, but I need to investigate in the light...

Put the alloy on to see whether it would actually clear the brakes and realised how close the rim is to the strut.

But there IS clearance,

I'm just wondering what you had to do to make these work? Possibly what the spacers look like, are these just wheel spacers just to stop the rim from hitting the caliper?

Thanks in advance for your help

Yes, you would need the carrier as well, the Mondy brakes dwarf the standad scrote ones!

Yup they will do...

They just bring the Caliper 12mm outward to center it on the disc.

these will fit under certain 15s, when shaved,

these are,
rotas,
compomotives
team dynamics pro race
standard fiesta zetec s 15s (need a 3mm spacer)

need a 12mm spacer on caliper to go on escort/orion
go straigh on a fiesta no spacers

its more about the ofset of the caliper for clearing wheels,

ive put these on loads of cars, and there a great budget mod.

both my zetec s, and my rs turbo have them, and the mrs fiesta st

no chance lol.

there an old design of alloy and fowl both the inner of the rim and i would imagine the back of the spokes.

would love them behind standard turbos,

or some 16" turbos, hmmmmmm,

for reference these wont fit behind all 16s, so crappy wheels wont house them, neither will st24 wheels
