Just wondered, did you file dwn the ''teeth'' on your rocker cover so it gets a perfect squash down onto the wider rim of the gasket. People who have one will understand my random explanation of the fiting there lol.

never used 1 on a standard rocker cover i only use them with alloy rocker covers, but i know what you mean, i'd imagine you can file down the bits that stick out.

Please excuse the stupid question here, and i admit i havent properly looked at it yet, but what way up does it go? It has a lip on it, does this face upwards or downwards, i noticed there is a 'grove' like line that runs around it so it fits down and over the top rim part of the head, or does it sit over the rim part of the edge of the rocker cover.

Cheers Rob,yeah i went out to garage today and had a look and yeah it seems the edge of the rocker cover sits in the groove outline on the rubber gasket. I to had heard they're good plus also heard they dont need replacing everytime u remove the rocker cover unlike cork ones.
