Default thermo time switch on mfi

hy i need a new multi plug for my brown thermo switch there are 2 cables can i connect them how i want on the thermo switch sensor ?

and my escort rs turbo from 88 d ont want to start when the engine is hot
i heart that the thermo switch its only there to active the cold start ingector the blue plug ....

You can get the connector from ebay, you may still be able to get the sensor from ford?....

Thermo switch controls more than just the cold start injector. On n/a MFIs, it controls the cold start injector and the fuel shut off. In KE-Jets the ECU also gets the temperature from the sensor (it isn't a switch then) to control amount of fuel. So it should be connected correct to cure your hot/cold start problems.

Im pretty sure the sensor/switch for the cold start valve is only used for the cold start valve, it has a small heating element in it and a bimetallic spring, which can fail.

You may be referring to the engine coolant temp sensor or the air temp sensor.

did you find a thermo switch? im looking for one at the moment and ford cant get them and bosch dont make them anymore, let me know if you found one and it solved your problem, cheers
