if the cars standard then too be honest don't bother wasting your money!
the cossie management route is for cars that need to run more than 180bhp+
I would spend the money on uprating the engine, clutch, gearbox, head before cossie management.

I was under the impression the guy has a completely standard engine and does not have a different head etc..

To be honest, i wouldnt spend the money on Cossie management. For around the same money you could go for Pectel T2...a far better option IMO. Have seen a few for sale lately with loom.

i would definatly swap management before i done anything else, as said above the standard mfi escort managment is wank, change management and it will transform the car completly

no point spending thousands on pistons, rods head etc when its gonna be limited by the wank managment

ive had this conversion b4 on my first rst done by jano at oddkidd creations, i would say management first, smoother running, mutch more reliable than shitty mfi, very noticable power increase, my car was running standard t3 with -31, standard bottom end, standard head cam, car produced 212 bhp, and engine wnt on for 20k, no issiues but put a low comp bottom end in that came up cheap, the engine is now in my combi van,

have a look on ebay for getting the kit cheap otherwise its around 1500quid odd to have cossie management.
but then for that price you could go with gotech, omex, dta, pectal, or other indepandant management systems that run most drivers and are fully mappable.
nothing wrong with cossie management, i just prefered to go down the new route with indepandant like new ecu, new wiring loom, new sensor, new injectors and no need to have coilpack drivers, piggy boards for anti lag.
if you do chose cossie management then i would suggest going or at least speaking to jano as he has the whole cossie setup sorted! seen a car with his work and that was very good so can't fault his work!

If your after cossie management then see Jano.
If your after indepanadant management then speak to Enhance(Luke) he will sort you out fully mapped dta or gotech for around the 900 mark.

well the amount of money weber will of had for developing the ecu is way more than omex gotech ect will get to develop theres. hence more time spent on development trying and testing different things ect to see what does and doesnt work ect.

I know a lot of people on this thread have mentioned other management systems, are the prices including all sensors, inlet manifold, injectors etc etc, or is that just for the ecu and looms?

totlay agree! thought is was going mad there for a minute, cossie mgt is one the best ways to go to make your rst run better / more power ect mfi is pants after a GENUINE 180 bhp anyway

Doing the managment first just means that you can get the best out of every mod as you do it.
