i would definatly swap management before i done anything else, as said above the standard mfi escort managment is wank, change management and it will transform the car completly
no point spending thousands on pistons, rods head etc when its gonna be limited by the wank managment
Couldnt say it better my self but that's the boat i am in now so matey get EFI sorted first whichever route you take
Spent 5k on all new bit's on the S1 engine and now stuck on MFI with it at mo,So now chasing EFI
