Default Help please! My vents are leaking!

Hi all, I was driving home last night when the heater vents inside the car started spraying steam out of them? When i stopped i noticed that the driver and passenger footwell has flooded and the car smells like the water in the header tank! The engine has also been heating up quicker than usual, and heating stopped working about 3 months ago?. Any help appreciated, cheers Gaz
