hey im using a fiesta efi inlet on my zvh at the mo, whats the best inlet to use for a cvh head?

ive got a rover 1 here off my last zetec turbo build? was thinking about using that and using the adapter plate thats used to fit a fiesta efi inlet to a zetec to bolt that to my cvh head

IIRC the limit of an EFI inlet has not been reached yet so 350bhp+ on what you have mate, i'd stick with it!

i like the idea of 350bhp lol dont really know where i am at the moment tho need to get a rr booked and some live mapping, dont really know where to go to get it done tho seen as my cars running cossie managment i was thinking about motorsport developments, as where ever i go is going to be a long way,

the spec of my engine is as follows

2.1 zvh
burton rods
forged pistons unsure what the cr is tho ill add a picture of them
big valve efi head heavily ported
cvh 35 and pulley
standard rst exsaust manifold but looks like its been ported to match the head
t34
efi fiesta turbo inlet also ported to match head
4 green injecters
1 extra green in the cross over pipe but not conected up
need to order a new fuel pump as still running the standard 1
cossie managment using a rsturbo dizzy thats been welded to a cozzy 1???
3 bar map etc
not to sure which ecu it is tho will have to check
cam and crank sensors on trigger wheels and some real smart brackets for the sensors from jamsport
felpro gasket

bought a complete car with the engine in so swopped it into mine

what do you rekon an est power figure??? dont want to go for a rr expecting 300 and come back dissapointed lol
and what would need to be changed to reach 350?? would rather do as possible now before going to get it mapped

thanks alot
mat

Bin the Felpro off as it can barely cope with standard ouput as I found out.

Stock inlet should be fine, mate of mine runs a 130PS RS1800 inlet (stamped HO) on his FRST and that's running 385bhp

the two best inlets on the market are area six motorsport zero loss intake £750

and jenvey turbo plenum around the £1000 mark

BOTH ARE VERY WELL DESIGNED INLETS BUT MAKE SURE YOU BUY ONE BEFORE YOU HAVE YOUR LIVE MAP DONE AS IT WILL NEED REMAPPING AGAIN

P.S BOTH SHOWN ARE FOR ZETEC TURBOS BUT CAN BE MADE TO FIT CVH , ZVH TURBOS

hope this helps

cheers paul
