2 stage boost high running and holding 26, low running 17.

I thought you would have learned to stop talking shit after you got ripped to bits in this post

Some pictures of the car and engine bay would be nice.

How about i put my car on any dyno around the country that you choose and see who bullshits the most? no use in bitching about all this unless you can show a car that does what it says! i hold to that my car will give a at least 300bhp as its set with the spec listed above! I'll stake £250 on mine perfoming that!
come on put your money down!

My car has not made 355bhp! you clearly know that as if you read in that link i mention my car is 303bhp and not 355bhp dum arse!
and now posting this shite on here just shows me you are just a prat!

Morph you mong

I posted the spec you gave me and the text that came with it.

It was YOU that mentioned the 355bhp not me

https://passionford.com/forum/4364292-post184.html

I have no interest in you or your car.

If you have been told its 303bhp then you must have 303bhp

You still talk shite though

OK, come to APT. I'll pay for the dyno time. I'll run mine on 1.5 bar. Lets see what happens?

This week?

Are you doubting my power figure like T28 believes?
I would be up for the challenge if you are, can't do this week as i return to work but if you want to organise it then i am happy to book a day off in the next 4 weeks as long as i have enough notice, no need for you to pay for my run. what you want to wage on it, £250
where is APT?

years of development? mines 310 at the mo and i am looking at 350 very shortly on a similar spec car just need to spec my turbo right thats the only thing stopping me making the 350bhp barrier and the fact my gearbox wont hold togther!
does this not say clearly a similar spec car to the one the guy has put on his post?
you need to read before you start to spout out crap!

A few people asked for it
can't see anyone else asking?

can't take up the challenge yourself and now your getting cocky when someone else is?

APT is in Norwich Morph, would be an interesting run!
I'm still waiting for Christian to organise a PF RR day up there and see what power people really make on his tight arse dyno! lol

Morph, I'm not necessarily doubting your figures, but would be interested to actually see it do it.

If I had a pound for every RST that has been on our Dyno and not made anywhere near its claimed figure, I'd be doing OK! Take it as a compliment, me giving you the opportunity to prove your power on a respected dyno. I don't want to bet any money, you get respect from me if it makes 300bhp. If it doesn't, well, you know.

This is my last 1 from when mine was finished earlier this year , im no expert on rr so i would leave that to christian as he uses the same rr so i dunno but it made the same hp at nobles in chesterfield plus or minus a few hp so it ok for me and did a 12.9 at the pod et 124 on 1.8 bar so im happy lol that was on prada tyes too lol.I bet it would have done closer to 400 with the nos but its been removed now lol

spec of mine is

1600 CVH Low Compression, NMS steel H section con-rods, Cosworth forged pistons, NMS Stage 4 Cylinder Head with 43.5mm Inlet Valves and 38mm Exhaust Valves, NMS custom cam profile and Vernier Pulley, NMS Double Cosworth Intercooler, NMS cosworth mgmt conversion, Bosch 403 injectors, Turbo Technics Hybrid T34 Turbocharger, NMS custom stainless exhaust, AVO coil overs, Safety Devices 6 point cage, Turbo Technics rose jointed front suspension with adjustable camber and caster, Cosworth brake conversion front and rear. CTS stage 2 box, AP 4 paddle clutch.

the inj,s are 750 lbs siemens and the turbo is a t04b other than that its very similar to above
Plus a good mapper lol

Nice graph Timmy, its just a shame that they couldnt be arsed to pick up RPM properly. Where is your limiter set? Or do you not have one?

Is that without gas? Looks like it comes in fucking hard.

Tim, what does a "nms custom stainless exhaust" consist of out of interest?

i thought when you'd built the old engine you still had a std manifold. do you still? or am i way off

ah cool. I just wondered after reading your resto thread years ago, and thinking how amazing it was to produce all that power on a std manifold.

same as me too haha, ollie told me after getting it back not to touch anything cos " it all works now, and its quite nice" were his own words
mine is starting to get "slower" of late , i need to get back up there soon to discuss some more power i think

Ok mate thats a fair comment, i will say if apt is running a dyno dynamics rollers i know exactly how hertbreaking those rollers are, seen them at other places like TOTD, SCC and alot of people were not happy with the results.
If your arranging a PF rolling road day i may put my name down for that day as it would be nice to see other big bhp cars too.

my turbo is a t3 but i couldn't tell you the eaxct spec as its not your usual stage 3 t3 it comprises of a t3 cossie housing, dual bearing left handed shaft but its still classed as a t3.
also mine isn't still a 1.6 its been rebored to except +.5mm oversize.

That is a very impressive power figure and hats off to you for that.
By reading the graph it shows that the turbo produces most of its power after 4500rpm
how is this like on the road? when changing through the gears do you get the car going out of its power band?

not at all , if you rev it right it drops straight into the next gear just right there is no lag at all ,as you can tell from my pod time and 0 to 60 time 4.9 and 9.8 to a ton.
the graph isnt that true in that respect it has full boost earlier than the graph would suggest and a bar comes up very early.the rpm was picked up from roller speed not the car as christain spotted

how much boost did you need to run to get the figure? and how come you changed turbo from t34 to a t04b?

It shows boost on that graph.

2.4 bar spike, dropping off to about 2.1 bar. Thats a fucking shed load of boost, but Timmy doesn't seem to have any bother with it. I shit myself as soon as I get near 2.0 bar, let alone over it!!

I'd very happily organise an APT RR day, but as proven in the past, MANY people talk the talk, but very few walk the mother-fucking walk.

Consequently, these days fall on their arse and don't even happen.

Peeking at just under 2.4bar dropping to around 2.1bar.

Excellent work by NMS there Tim!
Did the T34 not flow enough for your target BHP?

I'd very happily organise an APT RR day, but as proven in the past, MANY people talk the talk, but very few walk the mother-fucking walk.

Consequently, these days fall on their arse and don't even happen.
i would like to come along to one of thease days i fancy puting my corsa on the rollers how much is a power run any way?

£55 on a normal day.

I used to love RR days, were a good day, lots of people around, a good social event, but no-one seems interested these days. Well, not the Ford boys anyway. We still do 30-35 car days for a local club twice a year.

We map Martin Shorts Mosler (British GT car) and various drift-cars. We can get most stuff on, as long as it's not a piece of shit! LOL.

Our post-code is NR9 5SG, just make sure you book it first, we are busy as hell!! Also, I'm off for 2 weeks now, not that I'm the only one there! LOL.
