Default what fuel pressure regulator?

hi, what fuel pressure regulator am i going to need for my s2 running efi? its on ofab, stage 2 chip and beiges, am i right in saying the standard one wont work properly?...

you need to up the fuel pressure from 2.5 bar to 3.0 bar if running beiges. which can be done on standard regulator

really not a good idea to adjust it ya self unless u got a fuel pressure gauge

it needs to be approx 3.5 bar or mine did to run and fuel correctly.
you need a gauge to set it up and even then if you don't know your fueling levels then your taking a big risk, without visiting a tuner.
i'm using the standard frst regulator and its seems ok at the moment thats all i can really add.

that was my next question! im new to this efi stuff so still learning a bit where do you fit the gauge?

chris, i read about you fitting a gauge and adjusting it yourself, you wouldnt happen to have any pics? that would be massive help...

if you can aford it, go for a Turbosmart FPR800 and buy the gauge.

its full adjustable and look fairly smart to.

i'll try and get a piccie soon mate, i have been asked by someone else aswell so i'll try and sort it out.
tis nothing fancy mind just a gauge fitted in line on the supply side of the fuel rail.

Like I said not the tidiest but doesn't leak and isn't under any stress creating any awkward angles etc for my fuel feed.
I will create a bracket i think and tidy up the braided lines as they have frayed but its functional.

thanks alot mate, thats a big help what pressure regulator u using at what pressure? looks like a standard efi one to me...

standard frst one mate, according to my guage its just under 3.5bar and it runs pretty good and pulls well with a good afr on boost
