I did post a similar message a couple of weeks ago.

Please help i'm trying to find out some previous history on my new car.

Its a BLACK yes black series 1, Reg is B867 RFH.

Any info would be a great help.

was this the one that was ebay about 3 months ago, it had been reshelled with a black rs1600i shell and no chassis numbers in the floor. can't remember the reg though so dont take as gospel.

Yeah it was on ebay. How did you know or find out that its was an RS1600i shell.

How can i tell the difference between a 16i and a series 1 shell...

There are numbers in the floor, but until i get the interoir out and remove the layers of paint i cant be sure of what all the numbers are..
