With only 200 bhp the Cossie 4X4 Calipers and 2WD Disc's would be well up to the job,and cheap, plus an easy bolt on job. Also, there's no way the standard brake master cylinder would move enough brake fluid for a 6 pot caliper set up.The brake pedal would be in the bulkhead!!!!! Regards,Micky

My mate runs 285mm Wilwood 4 pots under the 17" softspokes on his S2 RS Turbo, and there looks to be a bit more room left for larger discs.

I'd also recommend Compbrake, they do some bargain 4 and 6 pot kits for the RS Turbo with bells/rotors.

Spoke design is an issue on Softlines and Diamond Cuts I thought? So spacers were needed?

That will stop a 200 BHP car no bother. As for futher improvements, fit goodridge braided hose's and dump the ABS.Also as mentioned, you could fit the 2WD front 4 pot calipers, but they need to be machined to fit.Regards,Micky

Excuse the dodgy phone pic's lol

Caliper and 2 piece bell/rotor system

Proper vented rotors

About as big as the wheel lol

RS Soft spokes (think these were 16's too)

Idea on caliper size (std cd)

No mods needed Martin, its all a straight fit, but as everything is brand new and your going over to a bell and rotor system the price is around £800

Spacer... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RS-turbo-mk4-e...lenotsupported

Caliper N/S... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/mondeo-mk3-2-0...lenotsupported

Caliper O/S... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/mondeo-mk3-2-0...lenotsupported

Pads... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-Mondeo-MK...lenotsupported

Discs... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FORD-Focus-ST-...lenotsupported

You can save money by getting everything other than the spacers locally as there will be no postage, which for heavy things like Calipers and Discs is quite a bit.
I paid £25 for a pair of Calipers, £13 for pads, and £30 for discs.
