try giving newmans a call should be able to help you out and will even grind to your spec if asked.

Wouldn't wipe my arse on a Piper 285T2, Kent CVH35k all the way, it's a cam I've proven in 3 sperate cars and it works well (as long as you get one from a good blank which is a bit of a lottery).

Newman would be a preffered choice though

Same price as most others, around £300. But you then have the ball ache of fitting solid lifters as Newmans dont do hydraulic.

You pulled it out to check it? Thats the problem with hydraulics, you may not know of a problem as quickly as you would with solids.

I haven't pulled it out to check it as I wouldn't have a clue how to do it myself but it's been alright so far.

The Piper 285T2 I took out of my old Escort was worn to fuck, and I mean you could visbaly see the wear and going off the reciepts had only been in the for 16K miles. I've got a Kent CVH34 in mine at the monent which has only done 4k which looks ok but is pretty noisy. I've got a Newman solid lifter ready to go in which certainly looks alot better made.
