Seen a set of wheels i quite fancy but un-sure if they would fit an RS Turbo or not. Would be going on a F plate Escort RS. Suspension dropped on Koni Adjustable Shocks and 25mm Springs.

Wheel size: 8x17" ET35 4x108 PCD.

yes they will fit but may rub the arches

In what areas will they rub mate?? Is it possible to have the area's modified to eliminate this? Or would it be more adviseable to just go for more narrow wheel??

Also, large/wide wheels/tyres on the front of a front-wheel-drive car, will feel nasty to drive with on the road.

I'd run 7" wide maximum, mine are 16" diameter, which I consider optimum. 195/45/16 is a nice size road tyre, I run 205/45/16 for gearing.
