hi there has ne body got info one these cars
f999jtv red s2 had it when i was 18 loved that car

nice one mate i loved that car two i was 3rsd owner, had a bit of bad luck luck with it had it keyed, then had a full respray was a 1.6 when i had it must scan some of the pics
and the lad before me which i know had it stolen police found it in blackpool then he sold it to me
i sold swoped the car for the s1 at a rs show i got it with 59k on clock and sold it with bout 100k
was she still mint

yeah was really tidy had 17 inch diamond cuts on really suited it no dents or scratches was pretty solid as well.Never knew it was stolen though, i got loads of pics ill email some to u when i get time later.

I owned B656JRM for 2 years back in the 1990's I think it was from 1992 to 1994. I was the 2nd or 3rd owner, cant remember exactly now. I bought it from a dealer who had it in storage for over 5 years. It had 26K on the clock when I got it and it had been in local police storage in Cleveland suspected stolen for a couple of years previous but never proven.
It had been fire damaged under the bonnet but had been cleaned up very well. The plastic clutch adjuster failed one day and when I replaced it I found a melted adjuster on the pedal. If you opened the bonnet you can see that there is no sealer around the offside strut turret, and under the offside wheel arch there was fire damage under there too.
I dropped the suspension and fitted Koni adjustables to it, nylon PTFE bushes were fitted all round and also steel braided brake hoses and uprated discs. It was an awesome car back in the day. Sold it and bought a Sapphire Cossie, had that for over 3 years and then became responsible and sold that to buy a house after getting banned with it.
Is the S1 still around? Would like some digi photos of it if any one has any. Only have hard copies of photos as I never had a digital camera back then.

i was just away 2 say i seen that s2 on gumtree aberdeen! looks alrite like! guy had a white s2 aswell didnt he!

aye it was on gumtree, it was his mates white one. anyway the zvh is out and its a s1 engine in it. it has s2 manifolds and a hearts and diamonds ecu (90 spec?)
anyway, the boost pipes werent on and the ht leads were on the wrong way. the plug to the amal valve and temp sender are no where to be found? the vac pipe from amal valve to actuator is also missing.
sat the boost hoses on and sorted the ht leads and it started briefly but the fuel gauge is below the red so betwen that and the slack boost pipes im hoping is why she wont run
