My S1 overboosts as soon as i hit 14PSI of boost and even my local rollers cant understand it ???

I used to be able to run upto 21PSI (Not Advisable) on my Standard Turbo before any probs...

Now Ive fitted a Chargecooler and Brand New Stage 3 T3 running on incar adjustable boost, i cant boost above 14PSI

Ive contacted the Turbo Supplier who were very helpful and say that overboosting has nothing to do with the actual Turbo and from what i can see all my pipes are ok.

I took it to the local rollers to get set up with the boost peaking @ 17psi dropping to 15psi but he couldnt get it do this boost because of the overboosting and he couldnt understand why ???? any ideas peeps????

Are you running the standard chip? If not, what's the boost limit on your chip?

 

Ahmed bayoo chip m8, not sure of the boost limit on this chip but like i say before fitting the new t3 and other bits i could wind it upto 21psi if i wanted.
So giz a clue ???

maybe ur chip has gone awol??

 

Could have fooked the chip, cant think why it would be over boosting.

 

Could be an ignition breakdown?

 

Sorted this one boys...
I was running Bosch Super 4's for plugs with a snd plug gap.
Spoke to M.A.D. told me my overboost limit on my chip was 1.5 bar and asked what plugs i was using?? told him the above and he laughed.. told me to bang some NGK's in with a gap of.28mm and bobs your uncle and susans your auntie away we go with 17psi of boost and as smooth as you like through the power now
whaaaaaaayyyyy.
