mine got massively messed up at a supposedly reputable place, but was then rectified and turned out amazing after a few days at central blast

i paid about 175, but that was both dash sections in 2 different colours, plus my steering column trims, centre console, and a few other bits. awesome price, awesome finish, and real quick turnaround time

i think it looks great. I would definately go to a company to have it done. I know frost sell diy kits but i cant really see it being too hard wearing!

the DIY kits are never going to give a finish anywhere close to a genuinely flocked item, as it needs the electric charge to get the flock to stand correctly

if u look at a flocked dash that has had some of the flock flattened by impact or wear, it stands out like a sore thumb, the company that did my dash 1st time n made an ass of it left flattened patches all over the shop, i would say that alone looked shit, but the rest wernt much cop either lol

so looking at around 170 with center consol, steering column surround, mainly black with some red?
Think thats value for money for such a nice looking effect!

would steer clear of the colours other than black or grey

they come ready mixed and bagged, and the flock is much shorter and gives a different finish, doesnt feel or look as nice as the standard issue black

black is simple as it comes, and then the grey is made at central by mixing the black with white flock, and as u add more white, it goes more and more towards a slate style bluey grey rather than a straight grey

this is all just info iv picked up along the way by having issues with the flocking process, so if im wrong in any way, feel free to correct
