whats needed to put my engine and box into an xr2i?

i had to modify the loom, cut the battery tray out to put metering unit in its place, move the battery to the boot, modify the front panel to have access to jubilee clip to do up the radiator hoses, thats it, to be honest mate wish i had just brought an fez turbo set up, but the engine and everything else was cheap, hope this helps

yes mate that is a help thanks, at leas i wont have to buy any other extra bits... the escort it driving me mad, there are remenants of 2 other alarms in there with dangerously bodged wiring, it is leaking water in from under drivers footwell, and in the spare wheel well, after i paid to have all the underneath welded up, its a fucking joke man and i dont know what to do!

yeh i had a nightmare with an old alarm on the wiring loom, i think most rs`s have had about 3 different alarms on at some stage in there lifes lol, the only thing mate is if u have an rs bonnet on the xr2i either remove it or totally block it off as i had water pour through mine into the metering unit get sucked through the turbo and blowing the bottom end
as water cant be compressed like fuel, so that has to be done BEFORE ANYTHING!
