yeh i had a nightmare with an old alarm on the wiring loom, i think most rs`s have had about 3 different alarms on at some stage in there lifes lol, the only thing mate is if u have an rs bonnet on the xr2i either remove it or totally block it off as i had water pour through mine into the metering unit get sucked through the turbo and blowing the bottom end as water cant be compressed like fuel, so that has to be done BEFORE ANYTHING!
