hi who put the head back on the car and connected every think up as it might be a simple thing as loose connector i would start with removing all connection leads check them and clean them and give em a little spray of wd 40

then check all the boost pipes and the inlet manifolds and gaskets and make sure all the nuts/bolts are tight

i take it as you put your foot on accelerator it cuts out which could be a air leak so check the easy stuff first

does the car idle for as long as you dont touch pedal

was the car fine before the head was done
are all fuel lines in correct position

hi
can you give me alot more details like
what the car was like before head work
who done the work
who fitted the head
is the timing set right
was fueling adjusted

before we go any further its like this
when you fit a new cam and lifters you have to bed them in on startup you rev the engine and hold it at at least 2.5k revs for 20 mins
you must not let it sit at idle on the first start up , has this been done
the more info you can give me and everybody else will help us to help you

also Burton power who build his engine said to start the engine rev to 2k for 5mins then change the oil
