radiator.... found a pin hole in my rad, so my mates give me some industrial rad sealer, but ive been told it can be solderd?
im not buyin a new rad as this is bran new as it is.
with the sealant do i just drain the rad an put fresh antifreez in then add the sealant??? no instructions on the bottle.![Confused](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)

im not a fan of rad sealer as I do not see how can it block a hole and not do the same to the rest of the radiator? - tempratures must be higher after using it imho (not tested my theory, just seems a reasonable thought)
I would solder the radiator myself anyway, best make certain its fixed correctly

Chuck an egg in it.... not just a daft myth then? Not that i would ever put an egg in my RS anyways lol
The solder... we talking just standard electrical solder or a special one?
I have a pin hole too, ya see.
Also, i got told ages age that Rad-Seal, and alike, aint no good for ya engine as it starts corroding itself and anything it clings to within time.
