Death Wish Live on Ch4....
Holy shit, did anyone see that just now?
Some cock end decided he would try and cheat the gallows and avoid being hung! Cept it went WRONG
For those that didn't see it, it's completely live (alledgedly) and this guy set up a gallows wich gave him 30 seconds to excape from a pair of police handcuffs before the noose around his neck was raised (rather than him dropping, being raised allowed him to live for a few more seconds should it go wrong)
So he has a pair of police style handcuffs fastened by chain to his belt (so it is impossible for him to reach the noose around his neck till he picks the lock on the handcuffs)
Unfortunately the shim he was using to pick the lock with, he dropped with about 3 secs to go. His mate was standing by and should he get hoisted, his mates job was to cut the rope with a pair of shears so he wasn't strangled.
Well his mate must be some kind of prick cos he wasn't ready!!! He never picked up the shears untill AFTER this guy was hoisted up!
This chap was suspended in mid air by a noose around his neck for about 5 or 6 seconds before his mate was able to collect himself and pick up the shears and cut him down.....
Then the programme cut to a screen saying BACK SHORTLY
