You would get a shock at the prices payed for toys.
One of my rare Dinky toys sold at auction for £3500 it went to Australia.
In mint condition silly prices are payed. The record for a Dinky is £14200 & a stupid £8000 for a Matchbox toy. I sold 35 Dinky Lorries a few years back for £19600 at auction.

Some of those old toy cars go for a packet. My dad still has a lot of his old Dinky toys from when he was a lad. There's also a trunk full of old Hornby O guage tin plate trains in the loft
