Fuel Pump Relay Keep Blowing???
Alright all, got a problem with the S2. Here goes, the fuel pump relay keeps burning out, i`m going through one a month approx and this is the 3rd one to blow today
Anybody got any ideas on what could be causing this or had this problem themselves as it`s staring to do my head right in????
Thanks

i snipped the block off and soldered new spades on mine, never had a problem after tht,bit extream tho,u can try making the connection better by squeezing the connection together more so it bites the relay more if ya get wht i mean?!lol

either bad connection or your fuel pump has seen better days and is drawing too much current.

I`ve sorted the relay with new spade connections so, fingers crossed, it shouldn`t happen again. Can anybody tell me how to test the fuel pump is working right (ie not drawing too much current)??? Thanks again

if u change the pump its worth running a nice new cable to it,its the black wire with a strip in,normally purple, goes straight to the pump
