![](http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p276/cossiecrazycarl/DSC006121.jpg)
the plug with all the wires, all marked up to where they go.
![](http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p276/cossiecrazycarl/DSC006111.jpg)
nice to see a dust seal.
![](http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p276/cossiecrazycarl/DSC00609.jpg)
all joins look good no bad soldered joints.
![](http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p276/cossiecrazycarl/DSC006081.jpg)
![](http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p276/cossiecrazycarl/DSC00610.jpg)
tranistors look well fitted with plenty of insulation.
![](http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p276/cossiecrazycarl/DSC006071.jpg)
the ECU in one piece, IMO it look and feels well made,i cant see any quality issues with it what so ever

Looks reasonable to me Carl and thanks for taking pics, I've never seen inside ms before
what do you mean that they have ripped off other peoples work Rick, they do not deny that its megasquirt or market it in some other manner, I have had a look at the site and its clear for all to see.
Is mega squirt not a built it yourself job anyway? - does the licence permit it being sold or something ?

Im really curious why this Mtech is getting so much heat.. The fella involved came on this forum took a nicely worded
complaint firmly on the chin, said he would sort it and was good to his word
So many company's get involved with slagging matches with unhappy people, but he did not, he asked what the problem was and took care of it with the least amount of fuss. Carl seemed happy
This in itself was a really good thing to see imho, specially as a consumer which is why im a little curious as to why there appears to be so much negativity.
I can't confess to knowing anything about Mtech or MS but the soldering and work looks ok to me

Turbo,
I think Rick and garage19 are in league with Phil over at ExtraEFi...
Competition impoves the breed as they say!
We are currently working on some sequential code for the MS2, (not using an additional chip like the MS3) and when that is completed it will be freely and openly fed back into the MS community.
Alot of folks view M-Tech as 'MegaSquirt UK' indeed, whenb we get a call and we answer 'M-Tech', often the person will say 'Is this Megasquirt?'. The company did adminitably have a rough patch, but that is over 2 years ago, try and find a recent unhappy customer. We offer a two year warranty, and so far this offer has cost us zilch...
Look forward to seeing you at FordFair Carl, we have a trade stand there.
We've actually built up a Zetec Engine on a stand that will be running on our ECU so people can have a play around with it and see what happens when you change settings, rev the engine etc.
Thanks all,
Matt

So the photos show a fairly typical Megasquirt ECU, re-badged as something else (against the rules of the project/license), poor quality 'loom' and nothing 'good' has been done to it, eg conformal coating etc.

Like I say Matt, I run real management
(only joking)
But from my perspective I believe you behave in an reasonable manner.
we all suffer hard times and have problems, not to mention make mistakes... these are to be expected, it is how you respond to them that matters
Im glad you have taken the time to make Carl happy, that is the important thing imho

engines built by NMS and other tuners are discussed on the forum, you think we have not discussed Rods engine ?.. the rule remains if they are not advertisers they can not state prices etc..
The original pictures were posted by a member upon my request as I have never seen inside a MS ecu previously, what's wrong with trying to learn and being interested

M-Tech have had problems in the past, i had some no hiding that, but matt has been nothing but helpful since i brought up my problems and has sorted me out 100% like he said he would, everyone goes thru a rough time, its how u deal with it the otherside that counts and what i can see, pretty well!
