Default Cosworth brakes

Hi there

Am in need of a little help pls. Have jst fitted 4x4 calipers with 2wd Discs & pads (Black Diamond). Have driven the car a few times since maybe 20 miles & the outer edge of the disc on passenger side is fouling the inner surface of the caliper. Also there is a strong vibration coming through the steering as if the discs are warped!

Have removed some of the inner face of caliper so it easily clears the disc but the problem persists. There is a metal on metal grinding noise still, not constant but it is as if when the disc rotates to a certain point sumthing catches?

Any help is much apreciated.

Thanx

You have to space the carrier out with a washer between the carrier and the mounting lug on the hub,

Wasn't aware there was more than 1 spec of 2wd discs? Bought them from Larkspeed who only list 1 type.

If they were the wrong offset as you say wouldn't they foul on both driver & passenger sides?

Is the caliper central over the disc ?

If not you may need more than 1 spacer washer in there

There is only 1 2WD disc

Read the sticky thread above for other idea's

Have carried out the conversion as in the Sticky thread and checked evrything that has been mentioned. Can brand new discs be warped? It the only thing left that i think it could possibly be.

Before when i was running the standard set-up everything was fine!
