Smile putting rst clocks into a basemodel...

i want to put xr3i/rs turbo clocks into my escort (1.3 bonus 90) but it doesnt have a rev counter as standard..

how do people do it?

I believe you just need a feed from the negative side of the coil, connected to the rev counter feed on the dash.

I think so, rev counter wise. But you'll need the dash with the coolant temp/fuel gauges the same way round as your current dash. 88 spec dashes have them one way round and 90 spec have them the other.

replied to ya post in gen discuss, but its a straight swap,like said,might have to run wire for rev,bout only problem u will have

i just cut my clock out and fitted a rev counter in place of it in the clock assy. its a tight squeeze but i didnt want to just do the norm n fit RST clocks, give us a shout if you do that n get stuck fella
