i've got a full set of deflex bushes on mine, i've not had a proiblem with them.
i paid 70 odd quid for a FULL set. they only thing is they're abit "uglier" and have a cheaper look about them, and they come with no instructions (i dot know if powerflex ones do) so you have to change one bush at a time. all good from me

i thought/heard deflex and powerflex were the same company anyway??
there was another name they used to use, then they went bust and started with the above??
not bothered either way tho, but i had polybushes all round and they make a BIG difference!

powerflex bushes are the dogs danglies as far as i'm concerened
superflex come second in the price vs quality race
floflex/deflex are very hit and miss as you'll have certain people who will get good bushes and otheres who will recive totaly shite ones
but as an example:
powerflex tca bushes on my sierra 4x4: 11 years, 4 different cars, still going strong
superflex: about 2 years before they started to deteriorate and after 4 years virtually shagged
deflex: lasted about 4 months before they were shot to shit
in these cases it's certainly worth paying the premium for the better bushes and better qualty fittings to go with them, the deflex ones didn't even come with washers or a stainless insert and i'm sure i've got the remains somewhere

The biggest problem is that some of the cheep bushes come with mild steel inserts that rust, as long as they have stainless steel inserts you should be OK
Deflex I think fits poorly in some cases, and most certainly is not of the quality of powerflex imho

deflex bushes are shit,end of
they fit shit, they dont last and there customer service is a joke
imo powerflex are overpriced, but defo the best out there
though fittin NEW std bushes will see a big difference on its own
thing is the rear arm inner bush is pressed into the rear arm and ford as per want an arm and leg for it,id stick with new std bushes as there more forgivin than deflex/powerflex which in my opinion makes an already harsh rise harsher

i fitted a full set of deflex bushes on my old s2 and too thought they were a load of crap. whether i had a dodgy set who knows?
Waited ages for them to turn up and when i did eventually recieve them, a few were wrong, and the ones that were right, once fitted had even more movement than the shagged out old ones!
I wouldnt buy them again, put it that way.
Powerflex everytime!
