is the fuel pump relay pink?
is the fuel pump relay pink? an located by drivers feet? my rs wont start, but wen i turn the ignition on, the fuel is primed, wud tht mean my relay is ok?

Usually, however i once found that it would prime fine, but if you started turning over it wasnt supplying power to the fuel pump hence a no go.
Best bet is to get someone to turn it over while you shove your head near the back by the pump and see if it runs. If it does thats the possibility of the relay out the way

There are numbers on the back side of the relay. There you should see which two pins you need to connect. Just use a short cable with two pins.
Other idea: When the fuel works for 2 sec after turning the key but don't run when you try to start... check the connector to the dizzy. When there's no signal from dizzy to the relais the fuel pump won't work. Connectors inside the plug often loosen.

when you by pass the relay does it just send fuel all the time sort of thing? so you can here the pump all the time?
im having trouble with mine at the minute, it got ripped from its plugs and the case off etc from catching on something, now the pump wont prime

It's a "short term thing" but it's no big difference to standard use. Just don't turn the key to "igniton / II " too often. But it's a good thing if you want to check if your relay is still working!

ah right nice one will try that then as at the minute i just put a positive to the pos side of the pump, but will try the relay way.
also what is the brown relay for? as it turns out that is the one that got ripped off from my car, oops lol
