my car keeps cutting why i`m driving it it also does it why its sitting ticking over. i think it`s eithier fuel pump relay or fuel pump loom?anyone else got idea of what it could be

 

leaky breather/ oil cap/ dipstick hole

 

it`s deffenetly electrical mate has it does it when your driving along?

 

coudl ne amything then

connectors on the coil ?

could run a new feed to the fuel pump to test

does it happen often?

 

it`s a new loom but getting it tested at weekend

 

is it sparking when it stops running??if it aint then its more likey ya dizzy,if it is sparking,is the fuel pump running?could fbe the pink fuel pump relay

 

yes mate it`s running fine then just stops like you`v turned it off?

 

It could be the dizzy on its way out, when your driving along and it suddenly cut's out, eg no power what so ever and your still in gear does the rev counter still read? if it is still reading its not the the dizzy, if you have no rev reading it's because you have no stark...?

Could be the dizzy had same thing go on mine but it would go then cut back in backfire and be fine for while, changed dizzzy and was fine after.there are so many things it can be but like most things intill its broke and dont work at all its trial error....

 

dizzy is brand new same has engine it`s only done 140 mile.it was doing it before rebuild though.thats why i`m thinking wiring/electrics

 

mine did this, turned out the battery was gone, put new one in and has been fine since!

 

battery new ;'-] lol

could it be a loose oh bad earth?
