i wouldnt go with a t34 on a rs turbo; great power punch, but seriously laggy

determine what power you want and then fit the smallest turbo you can to achieve that power

jus get a hybrid t3 variant of your current escort t3 the t34 will be very laggy, and no body likes lots of lag
a quick responsive engine is the way to go

i would speak to your prefered tuner / who ever getting turbo form
tell them your engine spec and then get a turbo to suit

there was hardly any lag on the old gt30 and tubular manifold , theres a bit more on this 1 but no where near as bad as the t34, cars gone back to sort out the paint

i use a t34 with 0.48 t3 hot and dash 23 0.60 t4 cold , although laggy its a lot easier at launch than my old straight t3 o.48 hot and 0.42 cold , which just spun into third.
awesome power at the top , but i have picked up surge under load in 4th and 5th gear - figured its down to the restrictive efi throttle as my previous setup with the sidedraughts didnt have this issue. currently have a 70mm throttle in mind with trumpets which i will bolt to the lower half of the efi manifold
recently made 153kw and 285nm on a syno day , this is without having the motor set up , pure road tune with a egt and an af meter. should see about 180kw atw when sorted
