Its hard to get upgraded brakes here in OZ and some of the ozzy fords have brembos fitted so it would be easier to get and fit some of them, does anybody have the part numbers or measurments of the FRS brembos and discs. My son has a 1989 XR3I and i have a big T escos.

No part numbers sorry, but i can try & find out for you

disc size is 323mm from a Focus RS

Plenty of off the shelf conversions available for the Escos, but your sons car could use the same set up as mine. the calipers, pds, discs etc.. can all be found on Bgay if you are interested in the conversion

Porsche Brembo caliper (bigger than the RS) sat under 17's

335mm x 28mm two piece rotor and bell

The caliper is nearly as big as the huge 13.2" rotor to give you idea's of size

I have had to keep the badges off the calipers for the photos but they can come with Brembo, Porsche, Ferrari etc as per the O/E caliper

Also available in the new Porsche yellow, but we have a 6 week back order on the Carbon look ones.

Nicked Mr S1's pic of the Porsche Yellow caliper for guidance

I knew that would be the first question because I posted that picture lol. Its hard for us to stock every single wheel type and offset just for pictures. Drop me a wheel off and I can check for you as that's safer than guessing what the clearence of your wheel is like.

all these brakes are great, but what i cant help thinking is why dont you downgrade to smaller size wheel as that gives you the same increase in braking power and saves weight.
slapping 17's on std 260mm brakes actually has the same effect as fitting 240mm brakes to a std rs turbo, not alot of people know that!

As its radial mounted its just a case of us droping it down to a 305/310mm rotor and making a smaller bracket. It can be done but not until there is enough possible interest

17" kit using the RS 7 spoke with the huge caliper now almost ready.

Enquirys / orders being taken

315mm x 28mm rotors with the massive Brembo caliper giving a 65mm pad surface area, bigger than the AP or RS options at a fraction of the cost.

Another feature of these calipers is the butterfly pad retaining clip.

Squeeze together in the middle and you can change your pads in under 30 seconds.
