FRS Brembo's on a RS Turbo
I have seen this conversion on both S1's & S2's using the Caliper & Disc from a FRS, & an adapter bracket for the caliper. I know that Zoo did the brackets off the shelf, but have heard they are not trading at present
Does anyone know anywhere else that would do them, or someone that could make them ?? Or anything else I should know about the conversion???
Any help would be great, thanks in advance
Here's a S1 with them fitted

@ Davey & turbo, thanks for the links.
@nuts, Will be 17' Ronnie's, 17' 7 spokes are off
@twins, I was loooking at you brakes at the pod last year, you were parked next to the big power Escos with 5 stud rims. Your car gave me the idea. Just got my hands on some calipers, & will buy new discs & pads. Just to check, they are FRS discs ?? & what brake hoses do you use, or are they custom ??
Thanks Adam.

They seem to average about £200 on Bgay, sometimes cheaper, sometimes a bit more.
FRS discs £150 up for decent ones (need to check that it is FRS Disc for defo)
Pads £50 up
& some brackets ofcorse

When doing this conversion, take note that you can only fit a certain wheel.
(COMPOMOTIVE) to clear the calipers.Or do what i did and fit 15mm hubcentric spacers. As for the brackets,i tried THORPEY off here but he was unreliable.Matin hadland couldn,t help either.Got them from ZOO in the end but he,s no longer trading.Brackets were £80.The whole conversion cost me £400.I painted mine red as i didn,t like the silver.Does look the bollocks and stops pretty good.

@Twins, thanks fo that, I already have Goodridge's on the S1, so something I dont have to buy
& Nuts, if your thinking at going 2 piece, the FRS lads on the RSOC BB had these made by AP, they run group buys on them so could be worth a look mate. IIRC they were about £550
@mercury, thanks for pics/info. Hoping to get away with spacers, but if the Ronnies dont fit i willl be getting some spacers or some Compo's

Got my bkts from Brom @ Zoo ( but think he may be doing bit o' bird at the mo')
As above I went for MO' to clear callipers as they are pretty big making wheel clearance a problem with many rims.

Just another point, even with Comp mo' the clearance between caliper front face & rear of wheel spoke is barely 2mm, so wheel choice is critical.

To be honest i'll probably use a steel alloy to make these as it'll be stronger and also cheaper.
if people wnat aluminium alloy ones i can get these made to but are more expensive as i use a steel insert to maximise thread strength.
