However I'm now getting mine made by Mike at R+R racing in Grant Park
(thats outside Chicago) who's got one of my rods winging its way to him
so he can copy it.
Including arp 2000's, dowling, radial serrations on the bearing caps, VAT
and import duty we're looking at 'slightly' less than the above.
Shame it'll helping GW's balance of payments but it's gotta be better
than buying something from someone who's not even willing to tell
you what it is.......

www.rrconnectingrods.com
if thats aimed at me my rods are just modified standerd rods and my pistons would be no good as you lot have bored it out to 1905 mine is only 1820cc
No aiming going on here, but how on earth would it hurt to tell what pistons you're using, especially if you're not a trader.
I did have a daft idea that this forum was to share idea's/experiences
with others.....
Incidentally mines an 1860 and so is yours if it's an 82mm bore, if it's
smaller it ain't a tall block.

Unfortunately Dave they were both the same internally. The blocks are most certainly different the earlier one resembling the cvh we all know but being 4 or 5 mm 'taller' the later one's are more like a zetec with zetec type top engine mounting, crank case breather etc but without the holes which need plugging on the deck face.
Pm me your email addy and I'll load some pictures up of both types.

ok bud, yeah i also found a site displaying stats on the rods etc and it seems the later 1.9l is a bit diff so i doubt specialised use the later block, i got mine in the late 90`s from specialised.

so if the rod youve sent off to the states is from the later type it wouldnt be any good for me i wouldnt of thought ????.

my email is ekzavier@hotmail.com

cheers matey .......oh you watching the game ??????? bout to start !!!!!!!.
