some people may not know which 1.9l they have, i for one havent a clue which one ive got. good on ya though for doing what ya doing to help others.

Unfortunately Dave they were both the same internally. The blocks are most certainly different the earlier one resembling the cvh we all know but being 4 or 5 mm 'taller' the later one's are more like a zetec with zetec type top engine mounting,crank case breather etc but without the holes which need plugging on the deck face.
