I had my car running tidy on friday, it was pulling quite well but whan i was driving back home it stopped pulling. You can here the turbo spinning up and the dumpvalve going but there is no pull from the turbo.What could it be?, it was fine one minute and gone the next. THA CAR IS A ERST S2

maybe its the actuator?

 

do you have a boostgauge in the car? what is that saying?

 

also make sure you are running with all four cylinders, they are known to run on 3 from time to time.

 

check all hoses and actuater arm i would have thought

 

iv checked all the hoses and thay seem fine. but with the actuator what can go wrong with it there is only a spring seal and a rod. i have felt the the tenshion on the rod and i isn't alot compaired to the 31 that i havent fitted yet. can somone explain how the actuator can fail. do they get jamed open? it was a month or two since i felt the presser on the one on the car so i will check and see if it's damaged
