Default series 1 radiator.

bit of a shite question but is the xr3i rad the same as the turbo?

mine`s leaking and dont wanna shell out for an ally one.

They are not the same, but I've always just used the XR3i one as it's cheap and available. Just needs to be mounted a few centimeters more to the right as normal.

Basicly the same. As above use a 3i one and move it over a bit.

Get it recored mate - use the same end tanks just a new middle section.

I can't see the point of keeping the old end tanks when a new rad is ~50e and it's the center section that has the mouning points.

the end tank is the problem so re coring is out the window.

the mk3 diesel rad eh? i`ll try check it out.

i`ve had a shop about and seems the 1.6d is the same as the xr3i. the turbo rad is smaller, my main problem now is i got a s2 grs on the front and there isnt enough room to move an xr3i rad over.may have to get an alloy one after all. wounded.
