Default Launch Control

can someone give me a in-depth explanation on how these launch control products work, i would like to get one as ive herd good things about them BUT before i get one i would like to know how they actually work and what the good and bad points are in using one.

basically, its a rev limiter, it has a switch you connect to say the clutch pedal, or handrake, or a button on the steering wheel etc, when the button is depressed the limiter is activated at the set revs, so you can hold the accelerator to the floor when pulling off!

is it fairly easy to install and will i have to have it set by a tuner after its all installed mate?

Usually only a few wires, and they are easy peasy to set up.

Armtech or Omex are what i would recommend, although personally i think i would prefer the Armtech because of how it works.

My mate used to have one on his R5 GT Turbo

there was a guy who used to run one in his ERST...and always ran faster times without it

personally...i would look into chassis development instead of launch control...who is ur tuner? they should know how to get u get your power down...i aint an official tuner and know what helps and what dont
