Just a bit of a quicky , how thick is the standard head gasket , ive just bought an RST with blown head gasket , there is another supplied its 1.8mm thick but i was thinking about upgrading toa GP A , is this a good idea while its apart ?

 

standard genuine ford gasket will handle 2 bar of boost all day no need for (group a felpro) gasket

 

Standard Ford head gasket is the best mate. No doubt about it!

 

it worth uprating the bolts or that the same thing , as long as i get new ones of course

 

use standard bolts

 

quality , will be back on the road sooner than i thought then , not bad for £400 quid
