TBH waste of time putting an egt there wont read right needs to go in the exh outlets as near the head as poss if you want a true reading but yes it gives an idea does your car run over run fueling just out of interest?

The problem with running EGT before the turbo is if the sensor decides to 'do one'. I wouldn't like to take that risk.

You can add on a figure of say 200 degrees to get the actual EGT at the port. It's more a relative aid, you know that if you normally run 600degrees, and it starts heading towatds 800 it's time to back off

rick was correct,

it was M18x1.5

Just need to find a m18x1.5 male to 1/8 bsp female adapter now

yeah it will be more of an idea then accurate,

the vems wideband i bought is a dual gauge with egt so i may as well use it, but im not putting a hole in my tubular manifold yet after paying £375 to have it coated even if they did do a shit job

plus my manifold hasn't really got room to fit it in by the collector
