Default Grp A Coil - resistor

Do you keep the ballast resistor wired in when you fit a grp a coil?

There isn't one as std on an RST - urs will be fine.

You don't mean the supressor for the rev counter near the coil do you?

it maybe that the std coil is a 9v one, the resistor is then bypassed when cranking to allow a better spark. The grp A needs the full 12v, so u don't need the resistor.

Not a lot to be honest, the rev counter will work without it if you plug the loose ends together

Its a little black box with two wires coming off of it. One red and one bright green. Sound like a supressor then?
