New Exhaust - Gasket?
Hi guy's just bought my new Mongoose, should be here tomorrow. £222 from www.ricerocketuk.co.uk and I went for the 2.5" bore with a 4" outward rolled tailpipe!
My question is, between the downpipe and turbo exhaust housing flange joint, is there a gasket?
Cheers in advance.

4" outward rolled !!
Too big imo mate. If you go for inward rolled it looks much better and doesn't make much difference performance (if any) or go for a 3" outward.
The 4" is big enough as it is without exagerating it on the end.

The scorp on there is a 4" and I must admit I do like it! But the scorp is dead and a shite fit, so it had to go!
You sure? ive just bought a brand new flange gasket for mine
Ive got a 3.5" rolled out but wouldnt mind a 4"
Is that the one between the turbo and the bend or the bend and the downpipe?

rs shawn you old grandad 4" outward rolled is SAFE
vroooom ptssssh, not as standard, but you can get them and people have been known to use them, usually when things warp to stop them blowing. Same with the gasket between the manifold and turbo flange

Im on about the FLANGE gasket between the turbo elbo and the exhaust downpipe. im sure I had one on my old exhaust but took it off today and its not on the downpipe, unless it's stuck on the turbo elbow still.

Another Q, Are mongoose exhausts marked anywhere, eg Logo? Only thing on it is a white sticker fd006?

I don't think mongoose exhausts do have any distinctive markings actually.
On the back box is the last hanger welded on or a bolt on strap? The mongoose i took off my old orion has a strap around it, where as my scorpion its welded on
