cold start problem help!!!

Default cold start problem help!!!

when i start the car in the moring ive got to keep the revs up or it just cuts out the was a broken plug on the choke changed that and the chokes working but its still bad at starting check for leaks there isnt any at all any ideas?

Check and make sure theres a fuse in the heated seat slot in the fuse box

May be the fuel computer (the black one). Mine went fecked ages back and had the same problem until the car was warm.

Again please try thermo time switch plug under inlet maniflold, can cause over/under fueling at warm up
leaking servo will cause far too high idle

is that the wee black one on the trottle body the plug on mine was fucked but i got a new one for it

Im sure i've got a spare mate can post it out too you if can find it.

Check plug under manifold its a brown sensor can fuck up had same bother with mineand replaced sensor but turned out too be a bad plug.

Let me know how you get on im just in livingston.

Mine had the same sort of problem when i first got it i put a fuse in the heated seat slot and it starts first turn of the key everytime now

The Electromagnetic pressure actuator on the side of the metering head, can cause a lot of problems, it can make fuel pressure drop off overnight, if its weeping petrol in its casing, making the car hard to start. Also the pressure actuator controls cold start enrichment as well as normal temperature enrichment. It constantly talks to the black ECU making fuel changes. Id make sure everything is right here first.

Well it work for me and many others but look at it this way if it dont work for you at least you'll have a spare fuse in case of an emergency

check the fuse its ok its start easy then the revs come down and it stops
