boost problem
I got it set on the rollers about 2 weeks ago. It was set at 19psi. However, my gearbox went. So i had my gearbox and clutch replaced.
Since i got my car back its only hitting 14 - 15 psi.
HELP!

amal valve is mountes to gbox. That would suggest to me that something round there has changed.

doubt it
most likely earth to gearbox
wires to amal valve
pipes to amal valve
as all these would have been removed with your gearbox

is it a lockable bleed valve cos if it aint it might be that thats reduced your boost!
bleed valves are nasty pieces of kit anyhow as it could up your boost and blow your engine!

bleed valves are 100% safe and wont blow your engine up,people tampering with them and turning them thats what blows engines up

No problems with bleed valves. Mine has been keeping the same boost level astonishingly well over the last months.

Maybe the bleed valve was touched by the guys who replaced the gear box?

no dont turn it up,you could easily have a leak somewhere which adding more boost wont do any good
take it back and get it set up as what you think is 19 psi on your gauge could quite easily be more in real life, this is exactly what im talkin about when i say that its people that blow engines up,just because boost is down do not touch the bleed valve to compensate,it needs tweakin on the rr
