Default bloody cars...

right got this new one.

and...

basically was checking oil etc earlier and when finish went to shut bonnet, it is bit of a cunt as its got a pace on it, so gave it a slam, shut no probs

BUT...

went to open it to show a mate under the bonnet and it wont fucking open, handle on dash is slack like the bonnet is already open, if I reach under front of bonnet to handle it doesnt wanna open.
Have I snapped the cable do ya reckon? How easy is it to do? and how the fuck do I get the bonnet open to change it.

cheers

underneath the slam panel where the bonnet catch is there are two pieces of metal where the cable goes into. If you go under the car with a torch you can see what i mean sort of(apologies for the shitty description)
If you squeeze them together that will open the bonnet. hope that sort of helps

Takes about half an hour to fit a new cable mate it's easy hardest part is threading the cable up to the pull under the dash

yeah , and secure the plastic knob on the front catch with a cable tie, it has a habit of pullingout , especially at the strip just before scrutineering!
