Raisers to get rid of excess heat, and the pins cos heard afew stories of ppls bonnets flying open with raisers on them

Also nearly finished fitting efi so hopefully the chatter might be abit louder with the raisers as the sound will get out

The bonnet issue is generally down to a faulty bonnet catch. And occasionally a FMIC fitting.

However, if you don't have that, nor suffer from overheating, pointless IMO. And shocking to see it on a fellow grey rst

exactly, when do you know if your bonnet catch will go faulty? as it seems to be common on rs's

raisers ive put on jus to release heat, cant see anything worng with that other than it will get rid of heat quicker than if the bonnet was fully closed

Default bonnet pins and bonnet raisers

The pins are a must, people who dont even have the raisers experience there bonnets flipping. However if you got the raisers purely to release excess heat under the hood then thats fine too, but i dont like the way they look with them on. People think that you have left your bonnet open or your cars had a prang at the front before lol

My bonnet ended up round the windscreen. It was not funny

I added the pins shortly afterwards as I kept looking at the bonnet edge rather than the road. No point having the car if I daren't drive it fast

They good mate - worth the effort - atleast u never have to worry about your bonnet popping up.

As for the members that left neggy comments - the chap didn't ask for your opinion if u liked them or not - the title just stated fitted these...

Why is it some ppl just can't keep there stupid pathetic remarks to themselves .......... it's his car - he can do what he wants to it....

If you don't like it then don't do it ...... these forums are supposed tobe a for a interest in the same thing - your car !! ........ so why slate another member?
