We disconected the injector lines from where they go in to the back of the engine and there was no fuel there

has the fuel pressure droped, cos there mecanical injectors and rely on fuel pressure so they wouldnt open check the fuel pump mate or put a presure gauge in the fuel line

Default fuel

if you put the ignition on number two then you should hear the fuel pump priming if you cant then the pump is more then likely nackered. First check the fuse in the fuse box and the relay before forking out on a new pump.

The fuel pump is def priming.. it does want to fire but only for half a second.. thing is this car was running this morning... the guy was fidling with the mixture to get it running better do you think hes fucked it up? what controls the ammount of fuel that goes through at the metering head?
